Billings, MT- The Northcutt Steele Gallery
presents Amy Mason's "Forgotten" series
in the student gallery located in the main floor of the Liberal Arts Building
at Montana State University Billings. A reception will begin at 5pm in the
outer gallery immediately in front of the student gallery.
In
"Forgotten," Mason addresses the beauty in discarded items through
photography, specifically those items that were once important to someone. By
using photography, Mason brings to light ghost towns and other abandoned objects.
Mason is originally from Sheridan, Wyoming and
has been living in Billings, MT for the last four years. She is currently a
student at Montana State University Billings working on her BFA with a focus in
photography. Mason has had a few works in previous shows at the Northcutt
Steele Gallery, such as the Juried Student Show in 2014.
The exhibition and reception are free and open
to the public.
The Northcutt Steele Gallery’s Student Gallery
in located on the first floor of the Liberal Arts Building on MSUB campus. The
gallery is open Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm, and by appointment. For
